Born and raised on the shores of Indonesia, the ocean isn't just my playground—it's my home. I'm Dama Indra, a proud local and the founder of Backwash Surf Bali. I've been riding waves since before I could properly walk, shaped by the tides of a small coastal village.

With decades of saltwater running through my veins and years of professional coaching experience across the archipelago, I know these waters like the back of my hand. For me, surfing is more than just a sport; it's a way of life, a deep connection to nature, and a culture of pure stoke and respect.
